Jimmy Page Offers New Glimpse Inside His London Tower House

Jimmy Page has offered fans a rare glimpse inside of his London Tower House.

The image accompanies a new feature in Tatler, a British magazine focused on fashion and high society living.

On a west London street,” Tatler writes, “lies a portal to a private paradise.”

Designed by architect William Burges during the late 1800s to evoke a 13th-century French gothic aesthetic, the house was purchased by the Led Zeppelin guitarist in 1972 for £350,000.

Each room has its own theme – Time, Love, Literature – and is decorated accordingly.

The heritage listed property is also subject to a long-running dispute with former pop star Robbie Williams.

(Wiliams’ plans to build an underground swimming pool on his own property have placed him at odds with Jimmy Page, who believes the project runs the risk of damaging his adjacent home.)

The Tatler feature also contains an interview with Scarlett Sabet, who is, not uncontroversially, more than 30 years Page’s junior.

(And more than 18 years younger than Jimmy Page’s eldest daughter, coincidentally also named Scarlet.)

It’s funny because on paper there is a massive difference,” she shares, “But when he’s standing in front of me, it’s not something I feel. It’s not something that impedes us.”

I’m in an amazing relationship,” Sabet later continues. “I think a lot of people make assumptions but Jimmy’s an exceptional man, and beautiful. There are a lot of women of all ages who are excited to meet him. And I feel lucky, he really is my best friend and the person who makes me laugh the most.”

Sabbat’s interview follows a formal message from Page to his fans following the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic in the UK.

Our thoughts are with all those who are suffering from the virus,” the 76-year-old shared, “and the families who have lost loved ones.We are so grateful to all our wonderful National Health Service staff on the frontline and all the essential service workers,” Jimmy Page closes off, “thank you. ⁣Stay safe.
