Having already raised over $50,000 to support animal victims of the Australian bushfires in less than 6 days, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard have now released a third charity album.

Titled Live In Brussels ’19 all proceeds from the album will be donated to Wires Wildlife Rescue.

In the five days since their two previous album’s releases, Live In Paris ’19 has been added to more than 2985 Bandcamp ‘collections’ and Live In Adeliade ’19 3070.

15 days into 2020, King Gizzard are already well on their way to breaking the 5-albums-in-one-year record first set in 2017.

3RD live album LIVE IN BRUSSELS 19’ available to download on Bandcamp now,” the band writes via Instagram. “All proceeds will go to @wireswildliferescue for bushfire relief. Thank you so much to everyone for buying so far we have already donated 25k each to @animalsaustralia and @wildlifevictoria and will keep donating as sales come in.”

In addition to releasing three charity albums, the band recently held bushfire benefit barbeque with Mac Demarco in Melbourne, donated a week of profits from made from the band’s Flightless record store and also made a general plea to fans to donate to the worthy cause.

While the release of the first two live albums was believed to be a one-off affair, the arrival of this third suggests there may be more to come before the group’s highly anticipated 3-hour US performances in May.
