Pink Floyd‘s Roger Waters has revealed he will be appearing at Eric Clapton‘s tribute concert for Cream drummer Ginger Baker on February 17.

The concert, organized to pay tribute to Baker who passed away last October, was announced in November.

While tickets for the one-off London concert have been highly sought after, it has been left to speculation as to who exactly besides Clapton would appear.

Until now.

Roger, of course, gone and spoiled the surprise.

Posting to via Instagram the Pink Floyd founder has revealed that he himself will appear to pay tribute to the Baker.

In the posts, Waters, who shares the last time he performed live with Clapton in 1985, can be seen strumming the recognizable riff to Cream’s ‘Sunshine of Your Love’ on acoustic guitar.

He then states that while he doesn’t know exactly who he will be sharing the bill with, highly regarded Eric Clapton session musician Steve Gadd plays “some drums”, Stevie Winwood will “definitely” be there and as will former collaborator of Waters and Clapton’s Paul Carrack.

When Waters’ interviewer asks him if he can have a spot of the guest list Roger jokingly refuses, revealing he and his partner have only been allocated two tickets themselves.

Following this, he adds that he will be performing three songs.

Closing out Roger then recommends viewers watch ‘Beware Of Mr. Baker‘ a 2012 documentary that captures the more cantankerous aspects of the late drummer’s personality.

Waters does not comment if Pink Floyd members will be in attendance, though the surviving bandmembers did reunite to appear at a similar tribute to Pink Floyd’s Syd Barrett in 2007.

Waters will commence an extensive US tour this July.
