Tame Impala, who recently announced fourth album The Slow Rush, have shared details of the band’s first round of 2020 shows.

North American fans will be able to catch Tame on March 9, 2020, at San Diego’s Pechanga Arena, at LA venue the Forum on March 10 and then San Francisco’s Chase Center March 13.

For these dates, Tame Impala will be supported by Clairo, who much like how Kevin Parker caught the ears of record label Modular with a series of viral Myspace singles, landed a record deal with indie label Fader on the back of the success of viral YouTube video ‘Pretty Girl’.

Following this, Tame will be crossing the US borderline and heading for Mexico City.

Here they will play a one-off show with Clairo and MGMT (who Tame Impala opened for on some of their earliest US tours in 2008) on March 19.

While in Mexico Kevin and company will also co-headline music festival Pal Norté alongside The Strokes on March 20 and 21st.

The shows will follow the release of The Slow Rush which arrives February 14 2020.
