Could it be?

Could that the long-awaited fourth Tame Impala album, the follow up to 2015’s Currents, is finally on its way?

A new video uploaded to the official Tame Impala website suggests that Tame’s Kevin Parker is up to something.

Just what that something is thought remains unclear.

The video itself contains no audio, simply looping footage of Parker in the studio and later gazing out to sea (whether this is him at home in his native Perth or Malibu where he was reportedly working upon the album, remains a matter for speculation).

In past interviews, Kevin Parker promised an album in 2019 but after the release of two songs, ‘Borderline’ and ‘Patience’ earlier this year it has remained unclear whether the record, which many fans have unsocial dubbed LP4, would be delivered.

Heck, this writer might just say this: Yes, it’s coming. C’mon, what else could it be?
