Pink Floyd Share Rare Video Of ‘Run Like Hell’

Ahead of the release of new box set The Later Years, Pink Floyd have shared a new video clip for ‘Run Like Hell’.

Featuring a remastered version of the song which appeared on 1988 live album The Delicate Sound of Thunder the clip depicts the band, sans Roger Waters who left Pink Floyd in 1985, performing the song at New York’s Nassau Coliseum.

As with much of the post-Waters era Floyd, reception of The Delicate Sound of Thunder at the time of its release was mixed.

Whereas the band used to match its special effects with headlong musical forays into the heart of the sun,” Rolling Stone‘s Micheal Azerrad wrote of the album in 1988, “it’s now plying an often vacant slickness. … Pink Floyd is celebrating and cashing in on its past glories, playing all its hits for kids who wish they’d been around when Ummagumma came out.”

The Later Years will be arriving December 11.
