Tame Impala Rumored To Be Working On New Film Project

Tame Impala is filming.
The news arrives from several fans, who observed members of a film crew hard at work during Tame Impala’s March 10 and March 11 appearances at Californian music venue The Forum.
The videography, these fans assert, was different from that typically used by The Forum to display performances on television screens throughout the venue.
“[A] camera on the boom [was] filming Kevin as he sings ‘Reality In Motion‘,” one observer writes. “In my section of the floor, I [saw] a cameraman and his assistant scrambling to get in place to get shots from further back among the audience.”
“I also saw camera guys filming fans outside after the show,” another adds.
Just what exactly it is Tame Impala was filming for is anyone’s guess.
The most exciting idea would be a fully-fledged Tame Impala documentary.
If this were the case, popular Netflix series Travis Scott: Look Mom I Can Fly could be a good idea of what fans could expect.
Another would be a smaller tour documentary.
Perhaps Parker simply wanted some fancy Instagram content.
With ‘Lost In Yesterday’ the only music video from the fourth Tame Impala album The Slow Rush another film clip is far from out of the question.
The final option would be that the footage is for personal use only.
With Tame Impala’s currently scheduled US tour facing widespread postponement due to the coronavirus pandemic, it may some time before fans see the final result.
