Ringo Starr Reveals His New Album Will Be His Last In New Interview

In a new interview with MSBNC former Beatles drummer Ringo Starr has shared that lastest album What’s My Name? will likely be his last.

That’s my 10-track album,” Ringo said of What’s My Name?. “That’s my last one. I want to go and do 3-tracks. I think an EP is enough now.

The comment will likely many taken aback. After all, it was the Beatles who pioneered the album as an artistic statement.

Nonetheless, Starr, now age 79, seemed adamant.

Starr also discussed The White Album, home recording and seafood inspiring Abbey Road classic ‘Octopus’s Garden‘.
